The Business Blueprint LLC DBA Your Business Blueprint ("YBB," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, engage with our services, or otherwise interact with us.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect on this website, in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and us, and through our coaching, consulting, group programs, events, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use our Services.

Section 1Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including information by which you may be personally identified ("personal information").

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Identity Information: Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and business name.
  • Account Information: Username, password, account preferences, and profile details.
  • Payment Information: Credit card details, billing address, and transaction history (processed by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers).
  • Business Information: Information about your business, industry, revenue, goals, challenges, and operations that you share with us during discovery calls, intake forms, coaching sessions, consulting engagements, or program participation.
  • Communications: Records of your correspondence with us, including emails, chat messages, voicemails, and submitted forms.
  • Marketing Preferences: Your preferences for receiving marketing communications, including newsletters, promotional emails, and SMS messages.
  • User-Generated Content: Comments, testimonials, reviews, photographs, videos, and other content you submit or share through our Services.

B. Information Collected Automatically

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and Technical Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, time zone setting, and screen resolution.
  • Usage Information: Pages visited, features used, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring URLs, and navigation patterns.
  • Location Information: Approximate geographic location based on IP address.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Information collected through cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 7).

C. Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

  • Social media platforms when you interact with us on those platforms or use them to log in to our Services.
  • Analytics providers that help us understand how our website and marketing perform.
  • Service providers such as payment processors, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems.

D. Sensitive Personal Information

We generally do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under California law. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, genetic data, biometric information, health information, or information about sex life or sexual orientation. If you voluntarily share such information with us during a coaching session or consulting engagement, we will treat it with appropriate confidentiality but recommend you not share information you do not wish us to have.

Section 2How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Services, including coaching, consulting, group programs, events, and digital products.
  • To process transactions, send invoices, and manage payments.
  • To communicate with you about your account, services, appointments, programs, and customer support inquiries.
  • To send you marketing communications, newsletters, and promotional materials (subject to your preferences and applicable law).
  • To personalize your experience and deliver content and offers relevant to your interests.
  • To improve our Services, develop new offerings, and conduct research and analytics.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and other harmful or illegal activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
  • For any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.

Section 3Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise them.

A. Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, postal address, IP address, account name, and online identifiers.
  • Customer Records: Information you provide that is protected by California Civil Code § 1798.80, including billing address and payment information.
  • Commercial Information: Records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, and other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  • Internet Activity: Browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our website, applications, or advertisements.
  • Geolocation Data: Approximate location derived from IP address (we do not collect precise geolocation).
  • Audio/Visual Information: Recordings of coaching calls, consulting sessions, or webinars (only with your consent).
  • Professional Information: Job title, business name, industry, and professional history.
  • Inferences: Inferences drawn from the above to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, and behavior.

B. Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information from: (1) directly from you; (2) automatically as you interact with our Services; (3) from our third-party service providers; and (4) from social media platforms and public sources.

C. Business Purposes for Collection

We collect personal information for the business purposes described in Section 2 of this Privacy Policy.

D. Service Providers Who Process Information on Our Behalf

We disclose personal information only to service providers who perform functions on our behalf: payment processors, email marketing platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) providers, website analytics providers, hosting providers, scheduling tools, course and membership platforms, and professional advisors. We never sell your information, and we do not work with data brokers or buy or sell leads.

E. No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. Like most websites, we use cookies and pixels (such as those from Meta/Facebook and Google) to measure the performance of our own marketing.

California residents may opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising at any time by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request," or by limiting advertising cookies using the methods described in Section 7 of this Privacy Policy, including browser settings and the industry opt-out tools linked there.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Mobile and SMS information is never sold or shared. Phone numbers and SMS consent collected for text messaging purposes are excluded from all sharing described in this section. See Section 8 for details.

F. Your CCPA Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights:

Right to Know. You have the right to request that we disclose: (1) the categories of personal information we collected about you; (2) the categories of sources from which the information was collected; (3) the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing the information; (4) the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed the information; and (5) the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.

Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., to complete a transaction, comply with legal obligations, or for internal uses reasonably aligned with your expectations).

Right to Correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising at any time.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to certain permitted purposes.

Right to Non-Discrimination. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality of services because you exercised your rights.

Right to Data Portability. You have the right to request a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.

G. How to Exercise Your CCPA Rights

To exercise your rights, you may submit a verifiable consumer request by emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Request."

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. To verify your identity, we may ask you to provide information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected the information. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days, with the possibility of a 45-day extension where reasonably necessary.

H. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may require the authorized agent to provide proof of your written authorization and verify their own identity.

I. Financial Incentive Disclosure

We do not currently offer financial incentives in exchange for the collection, sale, or retention of personal information. If we begin offering such incentives, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide a clear notice.

J. Retention of Personal Information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods depend on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements.

Section 4How We Disclose Your Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, email delivery, hosting, analytics, scheduling, course delivery, and customer support. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other change of control or business reorganization.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to respond to lawful requests by public authorities; to enforce our Terms of Service; or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.
  • With Your Consent: When you have given us permission to share your information for a specific purpose, including testimonials, case studies, or featured client stories.
  • Aggregated or De-Identified Information: We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
  • Mobile and SMS Information: Notwithstanding anything above, mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See Section 8.

Section 5Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Section 6Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit, secure password practices, restricted access controls, and regular review of our security practices.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and any transmission of information is at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for restricting access to your devices.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws, including California Civil Code § 1798.82.

Section 7Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our Services, analyze usage, personalize content, and deliver targeted advertising.

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Services to function (e.g., authentication, shopping cart, session management). These cannot be disabled.
  • Performance and Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our Services (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences and customize your experience.
  • Advertising and Targeting Cookies: Used by us and third-party advertising partners (such as Meta/Facebook and Google) to deliver relevant ads and measure campaign performance.

Your Cookie Choices

You can control cookies through:

  • Your browser settings (most browsers allow you to refuse, accept, or delete cookies)
  • Industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's WebChoices tool (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org)
  • Platform-level ad controls, including Meta's Ad Preferences and Google's Ads Settings

Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Services.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because no industry standard exists for responding to these signals, we currently do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Section 8Email and SMS Marketing

By providing your email address or phone number and opting in, you consent to receive marketing communications from us. We comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

SMS Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by emailing us at [email protected]. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected]. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications, such as receipts, appointment confirmations, or important notices about your account.

Section 9International Users

Our Services are operated in the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers and offices are located. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Section 10Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of every website you visit.

Section 11Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, providing additional notice (such as via email or a prominent notice on our Services). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
